Institute of Development Studies, Kolkata

The Institute of Development Studies, Kolkata is an autonomous research institute dedicated for Development Studies and related subfields in Kolkata, India. It was established in 2002. Professor Amiya Kumar Bagchi, who was appointed as its first-Director, is now Professor Emeritus of the Institute. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta.
