Individual Speedway Junior European Championship


The Individual Speedway Junior European Championship (also referred to as the Speedway European Under 19 Championship and now the Speedway European Under 21 Championship) is an annual speedway event held each year organized by the (UEM) since 1998.

Between 1977 and 1988 the held the Speedway European Under 21 Championship. After deciding to allow non-European competitors, the competition was renamed the World Under 21 Championship. The European Under 21 Championship was then inaugurated under the control of the (UEM).

The minimum age of a rider to compete is 16 years of age (starting on the date of the rider's birthday). The maximum age is 21 years of age (finishing at the end of the year in which the rider celebrates his 21st birthday).

The current European Champion is Dimitri Bergé from France.
