Ibn Sidah (1007– 25 March 1066) was a blind Andalusian scholar of Classical Arabic, author of the Muḥkam, a dictionary of 28 volumes, as also a large-scale classical vocabulary known as Kitāb al-Mukhaṣṣaṣ. He was born in Murcia and studied in Cordova.
