ISPS Handa PGA Seniors Championship

The PGA Seniors Championship was a European Senior Tour golf tournament for men aged fifty and above. It was founded in 1957, and became part of the European Senior Tour on its founding in 1992. It was played at the Royal Dublin Golf Club in the Republic of Ireland that year, but since 1993 it has been played at various golf clubs in England. It has had several sponsored names. In 2011 the prize fund was £250,000. In 2008, Gordon J. Brand beat Gordon Brand, Jnr after a six-hole playoff.

In 2012 and 1987, the event was reduced to 54 holes because of bad weather. From 1993 to 1995 and from 1957 to 1966, the event was over 54 holes.

In 1966 Rees beat Van Donck 71 to 75 in an 18-hole playoff. In 1961 King beat Dailey 69 to 80 in an 18-hole playoff. The first sudden-death playoff was in 1972.
