"Torneró" (from Italian "tornerò" for "I will return") is the debut single by the Italian group I Santo California, released in 1974. It became a number-one hit in Italy as well as a top five hit across Europe.
Amanda Lear recorded a cover of "Torneró" for her 1995 album Alter Ego. It replaced the original Italian lyrics with English words, written by Lear and Helmuth Schmidt. The song was included on the 1998 album Back in Your Arms, which was mostly a collection of re-recorded hits plus some Alter Ego tracks, and later released as a promotional single.
In 2005, Lear recorded "I'll Miss You" again, this time with German-Spanish singer Manuel Sanchez, for his album Ambitious. That version, more up-tempo and dance-oriented, was later included on Lear's 2005 compilation Amanda Lear Sings Evergreens, billed as the "Love Version".
