Hyundai Marine is the second-largest private insurer in Korea and the nation's largest writer of insurance through independent agents. Hyundai Marine writes insurance in Korea, United States, Japan, and China and is Hyundai Marine & Fire's largest subsidiary. It has been awarded an A-[Excellent] rating from A.M. Best for six consecutive years and an affirmed BBB+ rating from S&P.
