The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet or HPS, Begumpet is a privately funded public school in Hyderabad in the state of Telangana.The school is managed by the The Hyderabad Public School Society and the Board of Governors. The HPS Society currently has four branches at Begumpet, Ramanthapur, Kadapa and Warangal.

Known previously as Jagirdar College, it was established in 1923 by the Seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, Sir Osman Ali Khan, as a school exclusively for the sons of jagirdars and other aristocrats and elites. It was renamed as the Hyderbad Public School in 1951 after the Zamindari system was abolished in 1950. It is on a152-acre (0.62 km2) campus with buildings ranging from the Deccani Osmanian architecture to the contemporary style of architecture.

Children are schooled from the pre-primary stage to the 12th standard (age 3 to age 17). The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certification Examinations (ICSE, ISC). Its administrative body is the Hyderabad Public School Society.

The school is ranked 9th by EducationWorld's Best Day-cum-boarding Schools in India. Ranked 1st both in the State and the City.

The student body is divided into four houses named after famous institutions and universities in India.
