Huang Kan-lin (simplified Chinese: 黄甘霖; traditional Chinese: 黃甘霖; pinyin: Huáng Gānlín) born on 1975-03-12, is a Taiwanese baseball coach. He played for the Uni-President Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in center field for the Lions. He is currently retired, and is coaching the same team.
Huang is currently married with CPop singer A-Lin, a Taiwanese singer with aborigine background. They were engaged on May 26, 2007, when A-Lin was approximately two months into pregnancy. A-Lin revealed in various talk shows that when she was singing in pubs close to the baseball pitch, he once requested "How Do I Live" by LeAnn Rimes, yet, due to his poor command of English, the note said "好嘟 A-Lin", which was his transliteration of the song, but he used this method to pursue her due to her plump lips.
