Holy Trinity Cathedral is the cathedral church of Tirunelveli Diocese under Church of South India. Thoothukudi – Nazareth Diocese was bifurcated from Tirunelveli Diocese on 25.10.2003. St. John's Cathedral, Nazareth, Tamil Nadu became a cathedral by then.
