Hodgeman County (county code HG) is a county located in the U.S. state of Kansas. As of the 2010 census, the county population was 1,916. Its county seat and most populous city is Jetmore.

Hodgeman County was founded in 1867. It was named for Amos Hodgman, member of the 7th Regiment Kansas Volunteer Cavalry. The letter E was later added to the namesake's name.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 860 square miles (2,200 km2), of which 860 square miles (2,200 km2) is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 km2) (0.04%) is water.

As of the U.S. Census in 2000, there were 2,085 people, 796 households, and 581 families residing in the county. The population density was 2 people per square mile (1/km²). There were 945 housing units at an average density of 1 per square mile (0/km²). The racial makeup of the county was 97.31% White, 0.91% Black or African American, 0.24% Native American, 0.48% from other races, and 1.06% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.69% of the population.
