Hioki (日置市 Hioki-shi?) is a city located in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.
As of May 1, 2010, the city has a population of 51,819 and a population density of 205 persons per km². The total area is 253.06 km².
The modern city of Hioki was established on May 1, 2005, from the merger of the towns of Fukiage, Higashiichiki, Hiyoshi and Ijūin (all from Hioki District).
