Hetang District (simplified Chinese: 荷塘区; traditional Chinese: 荷塘區; pinyin: Hé-táng qū) is one of four urban districts of Zhuzhou City, Hunan province, China. The district was formed on May 31, 1997, it is named after the seat of the former Hetangpu Township (荷塘铺乡).
Located in the north eastern region of the city proper and on the eastern (right) shoreside of the Xiang River, the district is bordered to the northeast by Liuyang City, to the southeast, the south and soutuwest by Lusong District, to the west and the northwest by Shifeng District. Hetang District covers 143 km2 (55 sq mi), as of 2015, it had a permanent resident population of 311,400. The district has 5 subdistricts and a town under its jurisdiction, the government seat is at Guihua Subdistrict (桂花街道).
