Hersey is a town in Aroostook County, Maine, United States. The population was 83 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 39.86 square miles (103.24 km2), of which 39.65 square miles (102.69 km2) is land and 0.21 square miles (0.54 km2) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 83 people, 32 households, and 25 families residing in the town. The population density was 2.1 inhabitants per square mile (0.8/km2). There were 61 housing units at an average density of 1.5 per square mile (0.6/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 100.0% White.
There were 32 households of which 31.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.3% were married couples living together, 12.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 9.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 21.9% were non-families. 15.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
