Henry Clay Lewis (1825–1850) was an American short story writer and medical doctor.
Lewis wrote in the style of "Old Southwest Humor" for his only book, Odd Leaves from the Life of a Louisiana Swamp Doctor, which he wrote under the pseudonym Madison Tensas.
Lewis born in Charleston, South Carolina, moved to Cincinnati at an early age, and lived for some time in Yazoo City, Mississippi.
