He Jie (simplified Chinese: 何洁; traditional Chinese: 何潔; pinyin: Hé Jié; also known as Angel He; born 25 March 1986 in Guiyang, Guizhou) is a Chinese mandopop singer. She came to prominence after placing 4th in the 2005 Super Girl competition.
He Jie was born in Guiyang, Guizhou. Before taking part in the Super girl competition, she had some interest in music. That interest in music was shown when taking part in the competition, one of the most viewed musical shows in Mainland China. After placing the fourth place, she released "Luminary", her first major full album, which was launched under EE Media, one of the largest entertainment networks of that country.
One year later, she released "Clearly not an angel" a new album which was launched under Avex Taiwan. That second album enjoyed a considerable popularity. One of the singles of that album was a cover of "Boys", originally sung by Sabrina, and in a duet with Vision Wei.
After almost three years of inactivity, she started working again releasing a new album called "I want to go He Jie". For this new release, she returned to Mainland China and switched labels again, this time signed to "Huayi Media", a record label on the rise where she has been launching all her releases till today.
In 2011, she released her first EP, and one year later, she announced a new album called "Courageous love".
