Hays Consolidated Independent School District

Hays Consolidated Independent School District is a public school district based in Kyle, Texas (USA). In addition to Kyle, the district serves the city of Buda, and other areas in northern Hays County.

In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.

As of 2013^[update] HCISD covers 3.8 square miles (9.8 km²) of land within the City of Austin, making up 1.2% of the city's territory.
