Hays is a city in Hays County, Texas, United States. The population was 217 at the 2010 census.
Hays is located at 30°7′3″N 97°52′28″W / 30.11750°N 97.87444°W (30.117364, -97.874564), 13 miles (21 km) southwest of downtown Austin.
