Hamburg is a city in Carver County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 513 at the 2010 census.

A post office has been in operation in Hamburg since 1881. The city was named after Hamburg, in Germany.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.23 square miles (0.60 km2), all of it land.

County Road 50 serves as a main route in Hamburg. Minnesota State Highways 5 and 25 are in close proximity to the city.

As of the census of 2010, there were 513 people, 201 households, and 134 families residing in the city. The population density was 2,230.4 inhabitants per square mile (861.2/km2). There were 222 housing units at an average density of 965.2 per square mile (372.7/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 94.9% White, 0.2% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, and 4.5% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7.0% of the population.

There were 201 households of which 31.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.2% were married couples living together, 6.0% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 33.3% were non-families. 24.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
