Héctor Manuel Mendoza Ripoll (born March 5, 1994) is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.

Mendoza played with the Isla de la Juventud of the Cuban National Series from 2011 to 2015. He signed with the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball from 2014 to 2016, becoming the first Cuban pitcher signing in the Nippon Professional League with only 20 years.

Mendoza won with his national team, the gold medal of the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, Mexico.

On December 2, 2016 it was announced that Mendoza had been released by the Giants. After finishing his season in the Japanese league decides to change his route and not return to Cuba. Was declared a free agent in January 2017 and is now expected to receive a substantial contract from the MLB. He signed with the St. Louis Cardinals organization on June 7, 2017, with a bonus of $500,000. He will report to their Jupiter, Florida training camp.
