Gurdwara Janam Asthan (Urdu: گردوارہ جنم استھان), also sometimes referred to as Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, is a highly revered gurdwara amongst Sikhs. The Sikh temple was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the 19th century to mark the birthplace of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev.
Gurdwara Janam Asthan is believed to be located at the site of Guru Nanak's parental home in what was once known as Rāi Bhoi Kī Talvaṇḍī, now called Nankana Sahib, near Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
The gurdwara complex is listed on the Protected Heritage Monuments of the Archaeology Department of Punjab.
