Guduvancheri, sometimes spelled Kooduvancheri, is a Panchayat town in Kanchipuram district. It is part of the Chengalpattu taluk of the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. Guduvancheri is small Town in Kanchipuram region 35 kilometres (22 mi) from Egmore Chennai, Just 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from Gateway of Chennai Vandalur and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Chennai Tambaram and 15km from Chengalpattu on the GST Road. It is served by the Guduvancheri railway station of the Chennai Suburban Railway.
Guduvancheri is town in Kanchipuram Region located Outside Chennai on National Highway 45, which connects Gateway of Chennai Vandalur and southern Tamil Nadu. It is a hub for towns such as Adhanur, Madambakkam Village, Neelamangalam, Pallancheru (or Korukkanthangal), Kavanur, TTC Nagar, Kayarambedu, Perumattunallur, Kannivakkam, Pandur, Karanaipudhucheri, Potheri, Nellikuppam, Thailavaram, Thiruporur and Vellancheri.
East of Guduvancheri are Govindharajapuram, Vishnupriya Nagar, Perumattunallur, Kamashwarinagar, Kayarambedu and Nellikuppam. The highway ends at the Old Mahabalipuram Road at Thiruporur, connecting the GST, the OMR and the coast.
