Greenwood is a village in Cass County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 568 at the 2010 census.
Greenwood was founded in about 1869 when the Burlington & Missouri River Railroad was extended to that point. It was named for a pioneer settler named Green, but sources differ on Green's first name.
