Greenway High School is a public secondary school located in Phoenix, Arizona. It is a part of the Glendale Union High School District. It was named after John Campbell Greenway, a mining engineer and United States Senator. In the 1994-95 and 1995-96 school years, it was honored as a Blue Ribbon school.
Greenway High School offers a small variety of Advanced Placement classes, as well as honors and Dual Enrollment.
GWHS requires four years of math and English as well as three years of science and social studies. Typically, students have 2 electives. Freshman are required to take physical education.
There are three available diplomas: standard, advanced, and honors. Administration does not calculate exact rank. Instead, they use percentages, like 1%, 10%, etc.
