The Troyettes Dance Team at Southwest High School was started in 1985. The Troyettes perform at home soccer and football games in the fall, and basketball games in the winter/spring. The Troyettes also prepare competition pom, kick, and jazz routines that they perform at local, regional, state, and national competitions.

The Troyettes incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in 2004, so that donors can support the Troyettes.
