Great Neck Gardens is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) and a part of Great Neck located on the Great Neck peninsula of Nassau County, New York. The population was 1,186 at the 2010 census. The name was once proposed for an incorporated village, but is rarely used as the area has never been incorporated.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,089 people, 376 households, and 327 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 6,467.8 per square mile (2,473.3/km²). There were 381 housing units at an average density of 2,262.8/sq mi (865.3/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.35% White, 0.83% African American, 7.44% Asian, 0.73% from other races, and 1.65% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.30% of the population.
There were 376 households out of which 41.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 79.5% were married couples living together, 6.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 13.0% were non-families. 12.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.90 and the average family size was 3.11.
