Grassland is a hamlet in northern Alberta in Athabasca County, located on Highway 63, 151 kilometres (94 mi) northeast of Edmonton. Grassland has four gas stations, five restaurants, a fire hall, and a school.

As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Grassland recorded a population of 68 living in 26 of its 52 total private dwellings, a change of 2998723000000000000♠−27.7% from its 2011 population of 94. With a land area of 1.47 km² (0.57 sq mi), it had a population density of 46.3/km² (119.8/sq mi) in 2016.
