Grassland is a hamlet in northern Alberta in Athabasca County, located on Highway 63, 151 kilometres (94 mi) northeast of Edmonton. Grassland has four gas stations, five restaurants, a fire hall, and a school.
As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Grassland recorded a population of 68 living in 26 of its 52 total private dwellings, a change of −27.7% from its 2011 population of 94.
