Godfrey Gao (Chinese: 高以翔; born September 22, 1984) is a Taiwanese-born Canadian model and actor.
Gao was born in Taipei, Taiwan, to a Taiwanese father and a mother from Malaysia. He moved to Vancouver, Canada, during his childhood, and later studied at Capilano University in North Vancouver. Gao's father is Taiwanese while his mother is a Peranakan from George Town.
Since returning to Taiwan to work as a model in 2004, Gao has appeared in several TV dramas and films. He played Magnus Bane in the film adaption of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013). He is also the first Asian male to model for the fashion brand Louis Vuitton. He is managed by JetStar Entertainment, and joined Korean actress Yoo In-na for Wedding Bible. In 2017 he is set to appear in the romantic comedy film Love is a Broadway Hit, alongside Wang Likun, Wang Chuanjun, Yuan Li and Naren Weiss.
