The Georgia State Panthers women's basketball team represents Georgia State University and competes in the Sun Belt Conference of NCAA Division I. The Panthers play at the GSU Sports Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
The Georgia State Panthers women's basketball team is currently coached by former East Carolina coach Sharon Baldwin-Tener. In April, 2010, Georgia State President Mark Becker and Director of Athletics Cheryl Levick announced the hire of Baldwin-Tener as a perfect hire due to the university being in close proximity to where she grew up.
