George Fawcett (August 25, 1860 – June 6, 1939) was an American stage and film actor of the silent era. On stage he appeared in such plays as Ghosts (1905) with Mary Shaw, The Squaw Man (1905) with William Faversham, The Great John Ganton (1909) with an up-and-coming actress Laurette Taylor in the cast and Getting A Polish (1910) with the historic film actress May Irwin. He appeared in 151 films between 1915 and 1933.
He was born in Alexandria, Virginia and died in Nantucket, Massachusetts. His wife was the actress Percy Haswell. Fawcett and Haswell had a daughter.
