Gemeindeverwaltungsverband

Gemeindeverband is a generic term for several administrative subdivisions of Germany above the level of Gemeinde organized as a statutory corporation (Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts). The word is mentioned multiple times in the Grundgesetz, but without an exact definition.
