Gantt is a town in Covington County, Alabama, United States. At the 2010 census the population was 222.
Gantt is located in northern Covington County at 31°24′27″N 86°29′1″W / 31.40750°N 86.48361°W (31.407503, -86.483577). According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.69 square miles (1.8 km2), of which 0.66 square miles (1.7 km2) is land and 0.039 square miles (0.1 km2), or 4.89%, is water. Gantt is located along the west bank of the Conecuh River, at the dam forming Gantt Lake.
As of the census of 2000, there were 241 people, 101 households, and 62 families residing in the town. The population density was 374.0 people per square mile (145.4/km²). There were 125 housing units at an average density of 194.0 per square mile (75.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 75.93% White, 21.99% Black or African American, 0.83% Native American, 0.41% from other races, and 0.83% from two or more races. 0.83% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
