Friedens is a census-designated place (CDP) that is part of Somerset Township in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,523 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Friedens is located west of Indian Lake and Shanksville and east of Somerset and has access to US 219.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.34% White, 0.06% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.18% Asian, 0.06% from other races, and 0.24% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.18% of the population.
