Freddy Hernández Gómez (born March 23, 1979 in Mexico City) is a Mexican boxer in the Light Middleweight division.
Hernández beat Damian Frias (16-1) in a one-sided 10-round decision to win the WBC Latino welterweight title.
On February 2, 2010 he knocked out DeMarcus Corley in the 5th round to defend his WBC Latino welterweight title.
On November 27, 2010 Hernandez lost a fight against the WBC Welterweight Champion Andre Berto on HBO.
