Franklin Central High School (FCHS), colloquially known as FC, is a public four-year high school in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It is the only high school under the responsibility of the Franklin Township Community School Corporation.

Franklin Central High School is named after Founding Father and polymath, Benjamin Franklin. Established in 1960, succeeding Franklin Township High School. The current school building was constructed during 1975 and 1976. Classes at the current building began in September 1976. The school underwent construction and renovation in 1990 and 2003. The Freshmen Academy, an addition to the main building, opened in the fall of 2009.

In the 2010-11 school year, Franklin Central High School had 2,581 students enrolled. Enrollment consisted of 701 Freshman, 689 Sophomores, 620 Juniors and 571 Seniors. Enrollment by ethnicity consisted of 2,095 (81.2%) White students, 175 (4.8%) African American students, 125 (4.8%) Hispanic students, 102 (4.0%) Multiracial students, 76 (2.9%) Asian students, and 6 (0.2%) American Indian students.

Franklin Central has full accreditation. The school has a traditional schedule with seven 50-minute class periods per day, every week day, with 18-week semesters. The school year consists of 180 days. For eligibility and class ranking Franklin Central uses a 4.0 grade point average scale. Franklin Central has a wide curriculum. Courses are provided in Business, Family and Consumer Sciences, Foreign Language, Industrial and Technical Arts, Language Arts, Mathematics, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, Visual Art, and as internships and vocational programs. The school offers French, German, and Spanish as foreign languages. See the school curriculum here. Franklin Central competes annually in the Westfield Insurance Brain Game competition, hosted by WTHR Channel 13.
