François Petit (born November 8, 1951) is a martial artist and actor best known for his portrayal of the original Sub-Zero in the 1995 film Mortal Kombat and as head doctor of the World Wrestling Federation in the mid-1990s.

He claims to be a former special operations officer. He claims to have an 8th-degree black belt in GOSHINDO ju-jitsu and a 7th-degree black belt in karate do. He claims to hold the title of KaiDen-Shihan, which is the highest title of Master in the world. He has not gained these titles in Japan, nor has he officially won any world titles. He carries a third-degree judo black belt.

Petit was in Beyond the Mat, a pro-wrestling documentary, attending to wrestling performer Mick Foley, after a particularly dangerous stunt in a match. He was also mentioned in Foley's autobiography, Have a Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks, given credit as a shiatsu massage therapist. He worked as a doctor for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), previously named WWF.
