Fox Lake Hills is a census-designated place (CDP) in Grant and Lake Villa townships, Lake County, Illinois, United States. The population was 2,591 at the 2010 census.
Fox Lake Hills is located at 42°24′46″N 88°7′37″W / 42.41278°N 88.12694°W (42.4127358, -88.1269337).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.7 km2), of which 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2) is land and 0.5 square miles (1.3 km2) (25.84%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,561 people, 893 households, and 729 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,928.7 people per square mile (743.5/km²). There were 925 housing units at an average density of 696.6/sq mi (268.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.25% White, 1.17% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.59% Asian, 0.43% from other races, and 1.44% from two or more races.
