Follansbee is a city in Brooke County, West Virginia, United States, located along the Ohio River. It is part of the Weirton-Steubenville, WV-OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,986 at the 2010 census.

The city was named after the Follansbee brothers, the proprietors of a local steel mill.

Follansbee is located at 40°19′59″N 80°35′39″W / 40.33306°N 80.59417°W / 40.33306; -80.59417 (40.332919, -80.594048).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.09 square miles (5.41 km²), of which, 1.84 square miles (4.77 km²) is land and 0.25 square miles (0.65 km²) is water.
