The first Salisbury Unionist ministry was formed in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland by the Marquess of Salisbury, in an alliance with the Liberal Unionist Party, following the 1886 general election upon his reappointment as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom by Queen Victoria.
