Firangi

Firangi (English: Foreigner) is an upcoming Bollywood action comedy film directed by Rajiv Dhingra. The film stars Kapil Sharma , Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in the lead roles. The film is produced by Kapil Sharma. It has been reported that Punjabi Actress and Indian-American Model Monica Gill will play the role of an NRI girl in the film, while Sharma will play the role of a villager who used to love her in his childhood and meets her after a long time.

From some sources it is rumored that Tamannaah will also play a role in the film but there is no clarity about her role. Firangi's story & screenplay is written by Rajiv Dhingra, Rupinder Chahal and Balwinder Singh Janjua while the dialogues have been written by Rajesh Chawla.The story of the movie is from 1920. The shooting of movie is mostly done in Rajasthan. As of March 2017^[update], the release date of the movie has not been announced. Sharma has been heard promoting about Firangi many a time in his show 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.This the second film of Kapil. He debut in Bollywood with Abbas-Mustan’s directional film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’. The film ‘Firangi’ shooting will start after 25 November In Punjab and Rajasthan. Hence the film has been scheduled to release in theaters year 2017. But no such kind of the official statement has been made by the side of the film management.
