The album was supported by three successful singles: "I Don't Like", "Love Sosa" and "Hate Bein' Sober". Upon its release, the album was met with generally mixed reviews from most music critics. It debuted at number 29 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 50,000 copies in the United States.
Finally Rich was originally planned to be released as a mixtape but was later turned into a full-length album. The album was originally scheduled to be released on November 27, 2012, but it was pushed back until December 18, 2012.
"I Don't Like" featuring Lil Reese, was released as the album's lead single on March 15, 2012. The song has peaked at number 73 on the US Billboard Hot 100, number 20 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and number 15 on the Rap Songs charts. It also appeared on Chief Keef's mixtape Back from the Dead, which was released for free on March 12, 2012. The mixtape was later mastered and made available for purchase on iTunes. On May 1, 2012, a notable rapper and producer Kanye West, made a remix featuring Pusha T, Big Sean and Jadakiss. The remix is featured as the final track on the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, Cruel Summer.
