Fayette is a village in Fulton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,340 at the 2000 census, decreasing to 1,283 in 2010.
Fayette was incorporated as a village in 1872 when the railroad was extended to that point. A post office called Fayette has been in operation since 1873.
