Fateixa is a mountain (commonly as Monte Carrachiça), a stream, a small bay and a beach in the west coast of the island of São Vicente in Cape Verde. It is 8 km west from the city of Mindelo. Its elevation is 571 m making it the island's second tallest summit. Fateixa is also accessed by a dirt road.
Nearby features includes Monte Cara in the northeast and the valley of São Pedro and is airport which since 2012 is known as Cesária Évora Airport.
The geology forms a part of a rock formation known as Madeiral-Monte Cara formation with its length of 10 to 12 kilometers and rocks are deep as 2,500 meters. They were formed about 4.5 million years ago.
During the Middle Ice Age, its summit was about 700 meters, about 6,000 to 5,000 BC, its summit was about 600 meters.
