FK Javor Ivanjica (Serbian Cyrillic: ФК Јавор Ивањица) is a professional football club from Ivanjica, Serbia. The club plays in the Serbian SuperLiga and has spent last 15 years playing mostly the 1st-tier league, and occasionally the 2nd-tier Serbian First League.
There were not many places in Serbia that knew about football, when the student Milan Radojević brought in Ivanjica the first soccer ball in 1912. The local youth enthusiastically accepted the new game. Shortly after, the first club was founded, and it received the name of "Jagodina". After few trainings, familiarization with the rules and marking the fields, everything was ready for the first match to be held with audience. But, until the Second World War only friendly games were played. Afterwords, the club competed in several lower league competitions. The first great success was achieved in the period between 1958 and 1962, when the club competed for the first time in the Yugoslav Second League and it had its first great generation of players: Luković, Ranđić, Šarčević, Đoko Đurić, Bjelogrlić, Nešovanović, Čukavac, Veljo Luković among others. The club president was Stevo Jovičić and the coach Slavenko Kuzeljević. Some other famous players in that period were: Tatović, Ćurčić, Vitorović, Milošević, Milekić, Stefanović, Drobnjaković, Sretenović and Langura.
However, the greatest success in the history of the club was in the 2001–02 season when the club achieved promotion to the First League of FR Yugoslavia, which coincided with the 90-year anniversary of the club. The president of the club Duško Sekulić and three Vice-Presidents; Dragan Lazović, Darko Jovanović and Slobodan Bešević were the main people responsible for the recent success of the club, making them a solid Serbian club. Many players also contributed to this success, including: Ćurčić, Milović, Petaković, Borović, Đoković, Lišanin, Gašić, Radosavljević, Jevđović, Petrović and Bondžulić. In this period, the atmosphere in the stadium was great, and the club supporters usually followed the team wherever they played.
