The all-girl group Suntribe represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Let's Get Loud". The Estonian National Final Eurolaul 2005 was held on February 5, 2005 during a television show hosted by Ines & Marko Reikop. The winning song defeated eight others by televote. The song was written and composed by Sven Lõhmus.
The spokesperson who revealed Estonia's votes for other countries was Estonia's 1996 and 1997 entrant Maarja-Liis Ilus.
The winner of the national selection was girl band Suntribe. The original line-up was Mari-Leen Kaselaan, Rebecca Kontus, Laura Põldvere and Jaanika Vilipo. They were later joined by a fifth member, Daana Ots.
Estonia performed in twelfth position in the semi-final of the 2005 Contest which was held in Kiev, Ukraine on 19 May 2005, but failed to qualify for the grand final after finishing in 20th place. Several members of the band later split to pursue solo careers.
