Ellie Reed (born February 2, 1988) is best known for starring opposite Britt Robertson in the American sitcom Girlboss.
Reed was born in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. She graduated from Northwestern University, and further studied improv programs at The Second City Conservatory.
Reed made her debut screen appearance in the short film "Positive Comment" in 2010 and went on to appear in three episodes of Touch 'n Dix in 2012. Since then she has appeared in Betrayal (TV series) as Holly, Chicago P.D. (TV series) as Josie Valescu in the episode "An Honest Woman" in 2014, in 2015 she was a Fashion VP in Empire (2015 TV series) and as Marney in the 2016 TV series Future You. Also in 2016 she starred as Claire in a single episode of 2 Broke Girls, before landing a main supporting role as Annie, the friend of Sophia played by Britt Robertson in Girlboss for 13 episodes in 2017. Ellie Reed is signed up with the Creative Artists Agency(CAA).
