Eld "Eddie" James Martin (July 5, 1886 – September 16, 1968) was a provincial level politician from Alberta, Canada. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1940 to 1944 sitting as an Independent.

Martin ran as an independent candidate in the 1940 Alberta general election. He ran in a straight fight against incumbent Social Credit MLA William Bailey. The race was hotly contested with Martin finishing ahead by 139 votes to take the district.

Martin ran for a second term in office in the 1944 Alberta general election. He was defeated in a four way race by Social Credit candidate William Gilliland. Martin lost a significant share of his popular vote from 1940 and finished a distant third place.
