EinsPlus was a digital television channel from the German broadcaster ARD and managed by ARD regional broadcaster SWR. The channel launched on 29 August 1997 under the name EinsMuXx, and was renamed EinsPlus on 23 April 2005.
EinsPlus is available free-to-air via satellite, cable and in southern Germany via digital terrestrial. An HD simulcast of EinsPlus was launched on 5 December 2013. It is available free-to-air via satellite.
This channel, along with ZDFkultur ceased airing on October 1, 2016, due to financial issues.
