Eeda is an upcoming Malayalam romance film written, edited and directed by B. Ajithkumar. An independent adaption of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Eeda stars Shane Nigam and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles. The film is produced by Sharmila Raja for Collective Phase One.
The story set in north Malabar region of Kerala. Shane Nigam's character is an MBA graduate who works in an entry level managerial post in an insurance company. He meets Aishwarya (Nimisha) and film is about what happens afterwards.
