Edwin Seroussi (born 26 December 1952 in Montevideo) is an Israeli musicologist of Uruguayan origin.
Edwin Seroussi was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He immigrated to Israel in 1971. He is currently professor of musicology and director of the Jewish Music Research Centre at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests include Jewish musical traditions in North Africa and the Middle East, as well as Israeli popular music.
Seroussi's publications include Spanish-Portuguese Synagogue Music in Reform Sources from Hamburg (1996) and the Cancionero sefardi (1995) by Alberto Hemsi. He is the co-author of Popular Music and National Culture in Israel.
