Edgewood is a census-designated place (CDP) in Harford County, Maryland, USA. The population was 23,378 at the 2000 census, and 25,562 at the 2010 census.

Pooles Island Light was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Edgewood is located at 39°25′49″N 76°18′20″W / 39.43028°N 76.30556°W / 39.43028; -76.30556 (39.430275, -76.305555).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 18.0 square miles (47 km2), of which, 17.9 square miles (46 km2) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) of it (0.55%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 23,378 people, 8,299 households, and 6,224 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,303.9 people per square mile (503.4/km²). There were 8,834 housing units at an average density of 492.7 per square mile (190.2/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 68.10% White, 25.66% African American, 0.40% Native American, 1.64% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 1.40% from other races, and 2.70% from two or more races.
